Vintage Blue Moorcroft English Pottery Cabinet Vase Orchids Periwinkle Flowers

Moorcroft Art Pottery Vase Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Moorcroft art pottery vase. Please excuse the glare in the photos. The exterior has a blue background glaze. There are multicolored orchids and other flowers which look like periwinkles. The interior is also blue.

This piece is about 4 1/4 inches tall, and it has a maximum width of about 2 1/4 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 7.5 ounces. This would be a lovely addition to a collection of English art pottery.

Identification This Moorcroft pottery vase is marked beneath, as shown. It was made in England. The exact age is not known, but it is believed to be vintage.

Condition The vase looks very good overall, with no cracks or clay chips. It has light wear, with a scattered, fine scratch here or there. To the rim, there is a teeny tiny glaze fleabite (about the size of a ballpoint pen tip). The interior has minor residue from use.

Variations in the glaze application are as made. Near the bottom of the vases's sides, the glaze is not as smooth as it is elsewhere. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made. And international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
