Vintage ROOKWOOD Pottery Large 9 Vase and ROSEVILLE Rozane 7.5 Ewer

2 Vintage Art Pottery Pieces Rookwood Pottery Large 9" Vase Standard Glaze and Roseville Rozane 7.5" Ewer. Sarah Toohey provided the excellent floral decoration in Standard Glaze for this beautiful, long-necked Rookwood vase in 1899, the inaugural year of the shape itself and the twelfth in Ms. Toohey's near-half-century career at The Pottery. Standing nine inches, the vase shows very fine crazing and very little evidence of its near century and a quarter long existence. No cracks, chips, repairs or restorations. The typical Rookwood identifying marks are displayed on its underside.
The reverse RP logo with thirteen flame marks above indicating the production year (1899), the shape number (874) and Ms. Roseville Rozane Early1900s Pottery Standard Glaze Grapes Ewer 857-7 (Signed).
Attractive standard glaze ewer decorated with grapes and leaves. There is a pinkie nail sized, colored-in chip to the underside of the rim as shown. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Crazing and minor wear and cloudiness to the glaze. Bottom marked with Rozane and partial shape number.
